OJ 16

Is work on this underway? If so, when can we expect it?

I expect there'll be some news about this around the end of next week (Nov. 5th-7th or so). Check back then.

Cheers
Nell.

I just got done meeting with Andy Seale (in person; there are advantages to living in the same small state, and he's a very cool guy), and OJ 16 is very much "underway". Give us a few days to review some stuff, and we'll see about a bigger, better announcement this coming weekend.

Cheers,
Nell.

My bad about last weekend. Essentially Andy & I will be working together to finish OJ 16, and then we'll see about #17. The articles for 16 are just about done -- I'm waiting for one addition, and then I'll see if I can't scare up some artwork and get #16 out by the first of December or so.

Then we'll take a look ahead and assess for #17.

Sorry about the delay,
Nell.

Hey Nathan, are you in charge of the OJ again, or is Andy still E-in-C?

As far as I'm concerned, he's still E-in-C.

The current arrangement has Andy in charge of editing articles, and I'm in charge of pulling them together and getting him something to edit. Mind you, we worked this out in 2 hours at a gaming store in which we a) met for the first time, b) discussed gaming, c) discussed Greyhawk, d) discussed how hard an editor's life is and how everyone should cry for us, and finally, in the last 15 minutes, e) what the heck to do about OJ 16. After #16 he & I will probably get together again and make sure we're both comfortable with the arrangement, or work out a new one.

I really didn't, and don't, want to pull any sort of coup and take over the OJ. What the exact titles shake out to be, I don't know. Co-Editors; one E-i-C, one publisher; one E-i-C, one Head Editor...I'll take it up with him when I do the title page.

Cheers,
Nell.
