Where in the Flaeness would you guys place this campaign module?

The Barrier Peaks seems too tempting to avoid. I know it seems a little repetitive if S3 is also established there, but how can you not? Two crashed spaceships in the same campaign are going to feel a bit repetitive anyway, unless they're connected somehow. In which case, putting them nearby makes sense.

But I think it would fit well in the mountains around the headwaters of one of these rivers in northern Geoff.

It might be worth mining the Tale of the Comet novel for placement ideas. It's probably generic pulp, but author Roland Green was slated to write the later, unpublished, Expedition to the Barrier Peaks novel that was left out of WotC's GH novel line.
