All undecided or unfilled at this point -- it's just lil' ol' me. I haven't talked to Fallon for a few months, so I don't know if he's interested in continuing as editor. One or two people have mentioned that they're willing to help out if necessary (does a bear...never mind).
I don't want the "editor" job. Did it, loathe it. Publisher, editor-in-chief, promo-guy -- sure. But no g-d-ed editing. So...we'll see. I'm not doing 17 solo, that's for sure.

* Let me amend. Ron Carey is the most consistent "staff" around. There are a few reliable contributors. But that's it at the moment.
No offense, but it seems like the OJ has been run on a shoe-string.
As I read your and MTG's posts in this folder, I become more convinced of three things -
(1) The OJ needs its own website, if for no other reason that to establish its own "identity" that people can then identify with, which will help draw some more staff, I would think;
(2) More publicity for the OJ in a "community promoting sense," that is part informational (to spread the knowledge of the OJ, increasing awareness in a current way) and part boosterism/recruiting; and
(3) An "OJ-fest" model that would make each issue of the OJ a community "happening" that people would look forward to and want to be a part of.
With the timeliness issue improved, I think the above three steps could bear significant fruit. _________________ GVD
It's difficult to see without a years-long perspective, but the online Greyhawk community was very much in transition and chaotic for several years (post-AOL/TSR-failing/3e up to a year or two ago). The status of the Oerth Journal reflects that, I think. Things have settled into a comfortable and known configuration now, I think, and hopefully the OJ will be able to take advantage of that.
Also, I want to clarify that I hadn't talked to Andy for a few months because I simply hadn't emailed him. Despite my "I" and "me" talk, I'd rather work with him or for him than without him -- I think he's a bang-up editor who brings a nice degree of professionalism to the job (at least, more than I do).
