    Town of Womtham

Written by BluSponge, this piece was based off of the description of the city found in The Marklands, is designed to be used post-Wars. It should be trivial to update it to the 591CY era of the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer.

This article presents a city that is approaching an age of Renissiance, managing to flower despite the hardships which were imposed upon it by the outbreak of the Greyhawk Wars and the devestation they wrought upon the economy and society of Nyrond.

    Town of Cryllor

This piece by MB Drapier paints the town of Cryllor as a frontier town, situated on the westernmost margins of Keoland's direct control over the great Sheldomar Valley. The town thrives on the trade between the Kingdom and it's former possessions nestled in the great vallies between the various arms and spurs of the Cyrstalmist-Joten-Hellfurnaces ranges.

    The Origin of St. Cuthbert

This piece, written by the prolific QSamantha, delves into the origins of one of Greyhawk's more popular gods. It also goes on to explain the theological differences which led to the great rivalry between the cults of St. Cuthbert and the Pholtine churches throughout the Flanaess.

    Cuthbert and the Sundering

A second account of the origins of St. Cuthbert (and his rivalry with Pholtus), this one (by Chaos28) paints a much more recent date for the ascention of the Saint. It also paints a more proactive view of St. Cuthbert, with his slaying of a Pholtine priest for his advocacy of slavery.

    City of Hardby...Again

Relying on her previously posted writeup of Joramy (found in the Best of Greyhawk, Volume 5), QSamantha continues the Hardby flood from that collection, presenting a thrid view of the female-dominated city.

While Iquander's version was dominated by the ill-named Knights of True Womanhood, and Aria13's version was dominated by it's woman-supramecists, this version is dominated instead by the priesthood of Joramy. It also postulates that Jallarzi breaks with the Circle of Eight to defend Hardby from Greyhawk City's domination, and that she may ally with Rary. A much more intriguing and adventure filled possibility than the weak-willed and idiotic Jallarzi we were presented in Return of the Eight. This is definately worth reading and thinking about.
