Postfest Part III: Update 10 Aug

Greyhawkers, We are moving on to Part III of our Summer Postfest, Monsters and Other Creatures of Greyhawk. Parts I & II of our Summer Postfest are done. Cebrion was chosen as our favorite for Part I, with his Witches of Greyhawk: The Coven article. Now, we wait for the submissions for Part II to get posted, which shall be this week. So, here we are on the last part of the Summer Postfest. Information for the last part is below. As usual, we hope to see your submission.

Part Three: Monsters and other Creatures of Greyhawk
Due: Sunday, September 11, 2005
This August, the last part of our Summer Postfest askes writers to create monsters and other creatures of Greyhawk. From the Greyhawk Dragon to the Camprat, detail a monster or creature unique to the World of Greyhawk, either an existing one or one of your own creation. The goal of this topic is to discuss what makes the creature unique to Greyhawk. Where on Oerth did they come form, or what brought it or them here? What effect does your creature have on the land, people and other creatures around it? What good or evil has it caused, and what lies in its future? These are just a few of the questions your might answer. Your article may take any direction, drawing on existing species or devising something entirely on your own. Or, you can just detail the lair of a monster for use in an adventure.

Statistics are welcome for any edition of Dungeons & Dragons®, but creative effort is better spent on the elements that make your subject interesting and uniquely Greyhawk.

The Guidelines
There are no restrictions to your imagination, there are a few rules that govern content and format.
- The subject must have a World of Greyhawk theme.
