LG: Knights of the Watch Part II

For your reading pleasure (or displeasure), Living Greyhawk has posted its Knights of the Watch Part II, including information on the KNights of Dispatch.

    Check it out HERE.

Knights of the Watch Part I is available HERE, and a thread on these boards is HERE, for those who missed it.

I am not a big fan of 3rd edition, but I can live with the living greyhawk material, in favor of anything that adds to GH.

Knights of the Watch was well done, Half-elven members was an "ify" choice but I can live with it, but Dwarven Knights of the Watch??

I don't think the Knights would accept dwarven members...given their xenophobic tendencies, perhaps a sheldomar expert can shed more light on this issue.

    Canon/Non Canon

I have to smile somewhat at this article (and I agree that it is well written). However, it is the presentation that tickles me. It is/could be/should be/might be/shouldnt be/ isn't canon.

It is the first line that I like:

"The following is based on material from the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer and the work of the triads of Gran March and Keoland (both past and present)." No inclusion of "For use in the Living Greyhawk Campaign."

Ok, is this a LG article (it is in the LG section), but is it a WOTC sanctioned article that is it based on the IP of the LGJ (which I think most place in the Canon arena) or a LG article based on LG material?

I suppose I find this funny because in the Gran March project we have been working on the KoW along with canon compliance for a while, and the timing of this article makes that all the more convoluted.

Though, since they denied all use of any LG Gran March material, it is moot I suppose, we cannot use it.
