New & Improved (?) Birthplace Table

For your gaming pleasure, I present my new and (I hope) improved World of Greyhawk® Character Birthplace Table. I've broken down the various racial demographics to create an all-inclusive table that is weighted according to the relative populations of each region. I've also included expanded notes on human sub-races, languages, and regional alignments.

Most of this information is taken from DRAGON® #52, the Guide, the Glossography, and From the Ashes, with some further inferences and conclusions drawn by yours truly where hard data were lacking. While the population figures reflect the 576 CY "census", this should not be a problem for campaigns set 10 or 20 years later. (It's unlikely that any PC's would have been born later than that year.) Also, I should note that the table was rather large, so I reduced it to fit on one page. It's best viewed at 200% magnification. So, without further ado, enjoy!

    Yes...

I think you need to advertise more of your accomplishments here, D.M. I followed a link back to dragonsfoot and read an amazing document on 1st ed. A&D combat mechanics you compiled there!

Thanks, Scott. I didn't think it would be appropriate to link to that initiative document here. I generally try to keep my AD&D®-specific material on Dragonsfoot, and my Greyhawk-specific material on Canonfire!, so as not to offend. Wink

Great resource, very useful even though I'm not sure I agree with all the assumptions you've made.

OK, I'll bite. In case anyone is seriously asking, you roll 3 d10's to generate a number from 1-1000 (damned message board sarcasm . . . Confused ).

Nice work DMPrata! You should use the feedback form to query the admins about hosting the file here on CF! :D
