    Hraak Forest and environs

    Hello,

I am thinking of preparing a Greyhawk PbP game next year (late next year, really) and I want to set it where my own *glooming party* basically ended, in the Hraak Forest and Stonefist. Now, I've the Zavodex for 1e and 2e research, but I am curious if anything else has been written on these regions by fans or during 3e. Can someone help me out, please?

    Smile

    Thank you in advance,

    Rafael

Hey Ivid. Besides the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer, which added substantially to the details of those regions, there are some old Dragon articles--the campaign update ones.

Also, although it is somewhat distant, we have been gifted with two very interesting versions of Tenh by Greyhawk fans. Both Gary Welsh and Rip Van Wormer, a.k.a., Rasgon, posted their versions on GreyTalk back in the day. The former was influenced by Welsh legends and history. The latter incorporated ideas about indigenous Americans--particularly the animal-identified clans of the Southwest, afaik although neither was a simple transposition but rather used these Earthly cultures as creative material.

There are also two relevant 2e modules--Five Shall Be One and Howl from the North.

Finally, the LGH has advanced the timeline in controversial ways. You may have heard about the Days of Dust in Tenh or the Ether Invasion and other updates in that region. See generally http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/arch/dndlg.

Smile Thank you! I already knew about the two *official adventures*. but not about the fan material nor about the different Dragon articles.

This brings to more questions: Is the old Greytalk stuff still available somewhere?

And: Is there an index of Dragon mags so I can find out which articles I need?

    Again. thank you very much!

The campaign, if it come sto run, eill be based on my of my home games and just take place in a very small region of the Hraak. My old party is supposed to have founded a settlement there after the end of the Greyhawk Wars. Smile
