    Green Leaf Tavern: Location?

    Hey all,

Quick question: I remember the Green Leaf Tavern being referenced in one of the Greyhawk Boxed sets and then again in WGR1 Greyhawk Ruins. Does anyone recall there ever being an actual location or description of that place being given? If so, can anybody help me out and tell me where?

    Thanks....

    According to Zavoda's index:

    Quote:

    Green Leaf (City of Greyhawk)[INN]
    WGR1 - 37,63

Yeah I think he got those references, but did Gygax or any other author have a location for the tavern? Old City? Slum Quarter? IMC I put it in the Foreign Quarter.

You're right, Mortellan--that's the reference I was talking about in my initial post. You're also right in that I was looking for an actual city location. I could have sworn I'd seen it somewhere, but can't put my finger on it.... Confused

Ooops, misread your question _antithesis_. I don't know of any descriptions for this inn, unless they were from a more recent source, perhaps, than may be listed in Zavoda's index (which was last updated in 2003 IIRC). Perhaps some newer LGJ articles or Dungeon adventures?

    Green Leaf Tavern: Location?

P.37 of WGR1 (quoted by Grodog above) places this in the Foreign Quarter but can't find any other references in my City of Greyhawk material from the CoG boxed set onwards. Seems to be a place left for DMs to develop (as much was in WGR1!)

Good call Flint, WGR1! I knew I placed it in the Foreign Quarter for some reason. IIRC I put it somewhere near 'the Pit' to get some of its patrons after the fights were over.
