    Castle Elhenestra

From a canon perspective..does anyone think the description in the Marklands of the castle lends itself to a gate/fading land to the Demiplane of Faeire in the woods around the castle?

    thanks

I don't know so much about from a canon perspective but I think Castle Elhenestra is a locale that could well be a "haunted" Castle. You pick the haunt. The whole area has a lot of "influences" that you could play up.

    I agree Qstor.

If one wanted, this Fading Land might be linked to others associated with the People of the Testing, the Moonarch of Celene, the Lendore Isles, the so-called "Moon Mages" of the Grandwood, that faerie land in the Gnarley Forest that Gygax described in a short story, and others.

I've never been convinced that Ehlonna / Ehlenestra should be "replaced" or even complemented with Titania, Oberon, et al. (as represented by Carl Sargent in Monster Mythology).

Rather I think that the "Bright Lady" should be one of the foremost matrons of the Fae on (or connected to) Oerth.

    Thanks!

Thats what I thought but the references to illusions threw me off a bit.
