    The Fiend-Sage of Rel Astra

Is there any mineable information on this figure in Sean K. Reynolds' first few Enchiridion of the Fiend-Sage articles in the LGJ? I have all the installments after #2.

Or, to put it another way, what do we know about the sagely molydeus other than what's in Ivid the Undying? Anything substantial?

Off the top of my head, the articles do mention that the FS has agents and contacts in certain parts of the Flanaess (who often meet horrible ends collecting specimens for him). He also appears to do a bit of scrying and spying for Drax. There's mention of a few NPCs - inc. Kobasten the animus (?) from Ivid - in little mini-adventure hooky tidbits.

That he has a knack for attention getting monikers.

Fiend-Sage...it gets you to perk up a bit and say "Who?"

Then, to seperate him from the posers, the moniker is tied with a geographical reference, a good one at that.

Rel Astra...it tolls off the tongue with a mild menace. Good choice.

FWIW, I wrote a CF!article from the perspective of the FS for one of my groups of spells on the site: http://www.canonfire.com/cf/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=298

I've got another one or two articles that were partially drafted, but not submitted, somewhere in the midst of my still-unpacked GH lore boxes.
