I am writing an article in the baklunish west; I would like to include some persian words to add to the authenticity of the subject.
Komal & Istustan - Persian
Zeif & Ekbir - Turkish

Janasibs - Persian feel; I have found a site with some translations and names but not for common items.

Commodities
Spices
Narcotic Plant - So far - Shadi (pleasure)
Narcotic - street names for the products derived (3)
Chewed Leaves
Stepped Leaves
Ground Root

Anyone speak the language or know a good site ?

Crag, check out the Encyclopedia Iranica - http://www.iranica.com/newsite/. Just put the english word for whatever you're looking for into the search box and it'll bring back the Persian word. I only did a few searches but it had drugs, spices, foods, etc. It's not perfect but pretty good. You can also browse by subject.
