Despite being slightly off topic, I've moved this to World of Greyhawk Discussion area for maximum visibility for those who might be interested.
Good luck to those who participate.

I hadn't heard. Thanks for the post. Sounded interesting so I submitted something myself and posted it at Giant in the Playground. Good luck to all.

850+ items submitted with 32 advancing tomorrow at 3PM eastern time.
Did anybody besides me and Gargoyle end up submitting an item?
Submitted a low cost, general utility Summoning item myself.
According to one of Erik's posts today it sounds like they might do this again next year.

Clark posted they were adding 6 alternates tonight (#33-39) who might get an opportunity to compete in case one of the 32 gets disqualified, eliminated or drops out so it should be interesting. Looking forward to seeing who advances and what the items are tomorrow. Good luck 16 hours and counting.

The results are in: anyone on Canonfire! make the cut? Yours truly did not. Some good items, some questionable ones, but congrats to everyone of the 32! _________________ Greyhawk is dead; long live Greyahwk! It is not heresy; I will not recant!

Neither did I, but it was fun entering and my congratulations also go out to the winners. I was so pumped up I submitted to early and was over word count. Lesson learned for next year. I didn't really think I'd get picked mainly submitted hoping to see my item in print some day for that little ego stroke probably to munchkiny and uncreative Bracer of Summoning based on the Bag of Tricks summoning and cost mechanics with crafting discounts.
Maybe I'm out or tune or not playing right anymore. Seemed like most of the Top 32 had an excessive amount of fluff to cost. The only two I would use in game without reservation would be the Phial of Ebon Flame and the Seer's Tea for what they do in game for cost and utility.
Most were pretty interesting although I had issues with a lot of the crafting mechanics. I thought the Charts of the Shadow Voyage would be nice for a nautical campaign (but under priced) which I don't normally play. Usually ride a horse or walk to the destination occassionally take a ship. Love teleport at level 9. The Thieve's Cowl was interesting but for the price a lot depends on how much Invisibility the BBEGs are using before I'd consider getting one for a PC in a campaign.
it was nice of Erik to let people post their items in the threads and some of them are pretty interesting as I'm more of a cost to utility and suggested wealth by level player.
