In the "Gates in the World of Greyhawk" old-WotC file, Roger E. Moore commented that:
Quote:
Q1, page 15: The Frozen Lands. Eh...nah. This could be any old place. I thought maybe the Spectre (the outermost planet in Greyspace) would do, but that world has little population. Maybe the Frozen Lands could be something like Titan, a personal AD&D campaign world I described at length in a posting in the "Original Campaigns" folder. You decide. Create your own world!
Does anyone who was around back then have that "Original Campaigns" folder content, by chance? :D
I have a folder called "Best of Greyhawk (AOL)", It has five .pdf files dividing numerous e-mails up into "volumes". They look to have been complied by Nate Irving.
I also have a file with notes from Roger E. Moore called "Your Next Greyhawk Campaign".
Do any of those sound useful? Let me know. I'll keep poking around in the meantime.
Thanks for the replies. From the reference, this sounds to me like Moore may have posted it outside of the GH folders in AOL, but I'm not sure. I'd be happy to dig through whatever you guys have to look for this, though.
It's from a non-GH folder. I don't know who, if anyone, would have a log. TSR had folders for every campaign world, plus stuff like Original Campaigns and...other stuff. Races, classes, etc. Much like the WotC messageboards are divided up now.
I had more time but less money (I was online on dial-up via AOL, paid by the minute), so I concentrated on the GH folder. Had the most intelligent conversation. Seriously. That's why I got involved in GH.
Actually, the one person I can think of that -might- have a log, if anyone, would be Sean K. Reynolds. He was TSR's web guy, back in the day. I doubt he has one, though, or that he'd be able to find it if he did.
Thanks Nathan, I'll ping SKR to see if he can help, or has any other pointers (perhaps Erik would have copies too...). _________________ Allan Grohe (grodog@gmail.com)
