Question on the Gord Series of Books by Gary Gygax Book Two

    Spoiler Alert!

So I am just now reading this series. and I really like it. I am on the second book (Artifact of Evil) and Gord and his comrades just were sent to the Catlord's plane in escaping the Reaper. The book references that Gord and the Catlord have met before. I do not recall this ever happenning in the first book (Saga of the Old City). Am I off? Can anyone fill me in? Is this from some Dragon Magazine or something?

This probably refers to the short story from Dragon #100:"At Moonset Blackcat Comes".

Is there any way to read it online? Or even get a copy of Dragon #100?

OMG! Wait one minute, I have one in my collections somewhere. The problem will be finding it.

Shocked ... I missed that Dragon & had always presumed it to be a hint to his parentage.

Just a lil' bit. The Catlord remarks on Gord's interesting ring, among other things, but noththing too direct is mentioned. After all, there was a series of books soon to come out. Wink

Still have my autographed copy of the issue, and the autogrpahed "Saga of Old City" poster insert. I need to hunt down Caldwell and have him autograph the poster too. Cool
