I didn't know about this until recently. It surprised me that I hadn't seen anyone mention it here before:

There are several direct references to Greyhawk in it. And it's an interactive movie concept. It's all CGI.

"Long ago in a land ravaged by strife, an ancient race of mages crafted the ultimate weapon to destroy their enemies, and end all wars. They called it the Aryx Orthian, the Scourge Of Worlds."
Is that supposed to be what brought down the Invoked Devastation?

I remember playing this for about five minutes. I lost interest fairly quickly.

I actually enjoyed it. There are several paths that can be taken, but only one of them will "win." Any of the others and your party dies.
It involves a Cleric of Pholtus, 3 characters from the T.H. Lain books and it speaks of traveling to Greyhawk.
As to your question, Rasgon, in the movie an ancient elf druid and his elf apprentices are its guardians and the ancient elf speaks of being present -- and involved in the process -- when the Scourge was created. Were elves involved in the Twin Cataclysms? _________________ Mystic's web page: http://melkot.com/mysticscholar/index.html

Probably not. Maybe it was something to do with the war that banished the drow.
Still, it's possible that demi-humans were involved in the Twin Cataclysms. I mean, we can't rule it out. And the war with the drow might have been too long ago.

Agreed.
The Scourge of Worlds does make allusions to the Twin Cataclysms, but doesn't really say out right that the Scourge was the cause, if I remember correctly. But the allusion is pretty strong.
Another question: Could this interactive movie be considered "canon?" _________________ Mystic's web page: http://melkot.com/mysticscholar/index.html

It's an officially produced work. That makes it part of the official canon.

Given that fact, I'll have to re-watch/play the movie and see just what -- and how much of -- a role the Scourge played in the Twin Cataclysms. _________________ Mystic's web page: http://melkot.com/mysticscholar/index.html

Well... there's canon and there's canon. Whether it's part of the official body of Greyhawkana is one thing, and whether it's worth paying attention to is another. If people like it, and want to incorporate bits of it into their game, more power to them.

Its worth picking up if you're interested in obscure Sueloise history but if you're not a hard core GH fan its not worth it.
Also, the main antagonist is is a cleric of Iuz.
You should probably get it just for your personal collection just because it is kinda fun to go through a couple of times, however it was something of a failure in the marketplace so while there were supposed to be a whole series of them because of its poor performance SoW was the only one made.

Agreed.
There are Greyhawk connections throughout the movie so I'd say that its Greyhawk specific. And definitely worth having if you're a die hard Greyhawk fan. _________________ Mystic's web page: http://melkot.com/mysticscholar/index.html

I got it through Netflix so I could try it and not have to buy and keep it. My choice got the party killed while fighting the beholder. Then it let me continue from that choice and I completed the adventure successfully.
