    2 unrelated Greyhawk thoughts/questions

    1. Has anyone compared the nations as presented in the Folio or Boxed Set to EGG's Classic Warfare, to see if there are any overlaps or signs that he was modelling Oerth nations via Earth nations?

    2. Has anyone tracked the order of the appearance of monsters in publications, to see when they may (perhaps---this is clearly a fuzzy barometer) have been introduced into the GH campaign?

I have noticed that The Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun module mostly uses creatures from the Fiend Folio. I don't know if this was an effort to pitch the book, or to give Gygax the opportunity to take credit for the Fiend Folio.

I know the FF came first.

You can probably use the same logic with Greyhawk adventure modules and monster manuals published around the same time.
