As the LG is now over it should be more than interesting to build an updated timeline including the major events that occured during those years.
Being from Ekbir, I should mention
[590 - 596] Rise of the Ataphad Threat on Dramidj
[595] The ex Pasha of Tusmit (in exile) Jadhim-Orem, leaves Ekbir, and joins with the tusman northern rebellion.
[596] The Ekbirite fleet launches a major assault against the harbor of Atios in Ataphad territory.
[597] The Island of Murenshi is taken by the Ataphads
[597] Fragorox, the Dragon rises from his long slumber
[597] (re) discovery of the Cup and Talisman of Al'Akbar
[597] Fragorox, wounded, flees back to Murenshi (and by the way destroys most of the Ataphads occupying the island)
[597-598] Baklunish Holy War
[597] Kettish armies enter Tusmit and head toward Ekbir
[597] Bissel invades Ket
[598] Kettish army partly disbands.
[598] Bisselite army still occupies Ket, but there are dissensions inside the Bisselites.
These events are related into EKB, and TUS5-06 / TUS5-07 and VTF 5-03, VTF5-06, VTF6-01, VTF 6-02, VTF7-01 & VTF7-02 adventures.
I will see how to expand these notes into more detail but the main events are there.
I'm curious about how the LG-canon handled the rediscovery of the Cup and Talisman. Did they use the hook about the tall elves riding winged mounts from the Barrier Peaks, or did they refer to the generic adventure Day of Al'Akbar?
The Caliph of Ekbir, leader of the Faith has decreed in CY 596 or 597, that the elves were not involved in the theft.
The Cup and Talisman has been removed from the humans by agents of the Guardians of the Pinnacles, as the humans no more needed them. Since then, the Cup and Talisman have been protected by the Guardians of the Pinnacles of Azor'alq.
==REMINDER==
The most dramatic event arose however in 640 AA (on 2878 HB).
During the 16th procession of the Blessing, the Cup and the Talisman were displayed out of the main temple by the great mufti according to the tradition.
The procession was attacked by strange elves, as tall as human beings, who succeeded in stealing the Relics and in running away, riding giant eagles, through the plains of Paynims in the direction of barrier Peaks.
This theft caused a major consternation in all the country of Ekbir and beyond.
The great mufti was considered responsible for the theft and was banished from Ekbir.
He took refuge among the mountain dwellers of the Yatils and, some years later, he established a new religion dedicated to Al' Akbar whom he called the True Faith.
What the story does not tell is why the Pinnacles had to take the two relics this way - Armenfrast theorizes that the Great Mufti refused to give back the relics when he was asked for, by the Guardians of the Pinnacles, who had then no other option than to steal them
That was a great timeline Armenfrast! While I didn't play LG I have a great admiration for what development the respective triads did with the Baklunish lands.

IMC, I used the City of Delights set from Al'Qadim for Ekbir City. In that set, there are several people in high positions that are secretly possessed by yak men from a nearby mountain region. The Exag-based adventures in Dungeon magazine also place a yak men kingdom in the Yatils. Using this information, I decided that the real reason behind the mufti's exile was because he (and many of his subordinates) had been possessed by yak men!
Yak Man - I have seen this name from time to time, but I have been unable to guess what i relates to.
Can you tell me what are Yak Men _________________ Armenfrast, Sage d'Ekbir
aka Belvor_x (Greytalk / AOL 1995-1999)
aka 100523.157 (Compuserve 1994 - 1995)
http://www.greyhawk.fr
Are the site resources and adventures available in english
I am very interested in the baklunish west and would like to harmonize my material with the events. Also harmonize the map I created with the material to maintain consistency.
Does the LG material provide geographical enhanced map of the area.
Such as locations and names for the Ataphad City States?
Harbour of Athios: name of the harbour within the southern city state and therefore a small rewrite or the name of the settlement itself.
Anymore information on the Dragon Fragorox as to type and age for instance.
More baklunish is always a good thing
Thanks for the timeline
PS: If you are interested plz PM me regarding the proposed corsair manuscript and regional map (work in progress).
* Are the site resources and adventures available in english
=> Unfortunately for you they are not. Nearly everything is in French, except the Great Library of Greyhawk that you can actually find here http://living.greyhawk.fr (Grande Bibliothèque - the contents are mostly in english)

=> Not much has been written on the ataphad city states. Furthermore most of the developments around ataphad islands have been created for interactive adventures and those were mostly hand written.
=> I should search a bit more because I am nearly sure that I can find at least the name of a "Prince" as well as one other city.
Harbour of Athios: name of the harbour within the southern city state and therefore a small rewrite or the name of the settlement itself.
=> It is my mistake, the name is Atios
Anymore information on the Dragon Fragorox as to type and age for instance.
=> Fragorox is a red Dragon
http://www.ekbir.org/hist/fragorox.htm
and he was already :"Fragorox was of an apocalyptic power and a redoubtable intelligence " some centuries ago. He is at least Ancient, but may be Wyrm or Great wyrm. Fragorox was a Legendary Dragon amongst bakluni people. Furthermore, some cultists even worshipped him, and somehow they received some spell ability (not sure which deity granted these spells to them)

# I also have a copy of another excellent map, but I do not have the name of the person who created it - if you can direct me to the original site i could correctly make reference to the author#

The "Grand Unified Theory of the Flanaess." A mapping project for Greyhawk that details the various politcal sections of the flanaess. The maps contain both canon and fan made locations drawn from all 3 editions of the AD&D/D&D game, as well as links to sources for the non-canon materials so you can contact the authors or add their works to your personal collection.

This map was created from information given in the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer and the map and gazetteer created by the Living Greyhawk Ekbir Triad, translated from the French language. The adventure "DRN2 - The City Beyond the Gate” from Dragon magazine #100 has been placed on Murenshi Island, based on information given by Roger Moore in a Greytalk post.
Il will post something related to the Ataphad Islands for those few who expressed their interest into news from the far west. _________________ Armenfrast, Sage d'Ekbir
aka Belvor_x (Greytalk / AOL 1995-1999)
aka 100523.157 (Compuserve 1994 - 1995)
http://www.greyhawk.fr
