Suel worship by Baron Grellus/Baroness Fairwind

Getting ready to take a run at DMing a Lendore Island Campaign.

I am planning on just making up stuff as I go if/when I can't find the answer as I do not have an in with Len Lakofka nor would I want to bother him with a bunch of minor details. Some info I might have to twist to fit my campaign anyway. I am a fan of everyone's campaigns going their unique direction but thought I would ask anyway.

Did Len Lakofka even give information on who Grellus or Fairwind worship? I know there is a good chance it won't matter since they are likely soon to be snuffed out . . .

I am leaning towards Fairwind worshipping Osprem simply because it is a fishing village and it would blend nicely into my campaign. I might even trump canon to make this so.

I just want to make sure I am not overlooking a big plot line for connecting later adventures on the isle.

I'll point out that in Lakofka's original campaign, Llerg's name was Grell.

I could have sworn I had correspondence from Len on this subject, but I've lost either the email or my mind (or both). Given the significance of the church of Phaulkon in Restenford, I'd probably go with him for Fairwind. I think Osprem would have a greater presence if the Baroness were a member of her priesthood. (Fairwind's name could suggest Osprem, but it could also suggest Phaulkon, the Suel wind god.)

-Hmmm... That's a good indicator that one or both of his parents worshipped Grell/Llerg, but he may have gone in his own direction.

CG would still be in line with Llerg, but it's more in line with Phaulkon. It's also possible that he isn't stuck on any particular deity, but worships both (and maybe a fewe others).

BTW, why would Fairwind, who (IIRC) is LG, be the cleric of a CG deity? Osprem would be a better choice. Or maybe Jacar, or even a rare Suel who continues to worship Fortubo? How about Wee Jas? That might explain her daughter, the magic user.

    BTW, I found this:

Thanks for all the response. I greatly appreciate it.

I was inclined to think they worshipped different deities due to the alignment issues. Not that it a big deal in a such a setting.

Not sure how long the characters are going to use Restenford for a basecamp and certainly the ol' hourglass isn't going to be kind to Grellus or Fairwind soon anyway. Was looking for the info for some backstory/storyline guide.

Thanks for the info, I think I have a general outline in mind. See how it pans out.

    Y'all are great!!! Thanks again.
