Wondering if anyone has run across a map of Enstad perchance?
My elven bladesinger PC (nicknamed "Lanthorn" as irony would have it) is stationed there and I am sure both my DM and I could use a good reference map. Canon is preferable, but anything is welcome. Please also cite your source, if possible.
I never saw anything canonical, but Iron Crown Enterprise's Lorien and the Halls of the Elven Smiths features Ost-in-Edhil which I consider a reasonable surrogate. I like it because the elven city is given a slightly alien feel with triangular street patterns vice the default grid system. It is also not in a forest, but trees are common in the city. The city itself comes across as otherwordly, unconcerned with the struggle in surrounding realms... kinda like Enstad now that I think of it.
I got some really interesting results from doing a google image search for "elven city," "high elven city," and "elven city map." I especially like the ones that incorporate massive waterfalls into the designs, because I imagine Enstad as the source of the Handmaiden River as it leaves the Lortmil Mountains.
