Weblinks for the Classic D&D fan.

While I hope that this forum will become a valuable resource for CD&D fans, there are many other sites around that are of great interest. This thread is for posting links and comments about those sites for other users here, so that we can all become aware of the CD&D community.

I'll kick things off with a few links:

WotC's D&D Out Of Print Forum:
    http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=54
WotC's forum for discussing any and all of their OOP games, including the Basic D&D line.

    Grognard's Tavern Forum:
    http://grognardstavern.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=bdnd
Gutboy Barrelhouse hosts this excellent Basic D&D forum, as well as a number of other forums for fans of rpgs with an old school flavor.

    Dragonsfoot Forum:
    http://dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=15&sid=30a84c3e1a01272255f8d863de5c3778
Dragonsfoot touts itself as the home of AD&D 1e, but they also host this great Basic D&D forum, and a ton of nice downloadable player and DM aids.

    OD&Dities Ezine:
    http://www.tongue.fsnet.co.uk/
OD&Dities is the premiere ezine for Classic D&D fans. An excellent resource.

    theoddguild Yahoo group
    http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/theoddguild/
A nice discussion group dedicated to Classic D&D, run by Richard Tongue, editor of OD&Dities.

    dnd Yahoo Group
    http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/dnd/
Another cool CD&D discussion group. Not a lot of activity these days, but the archives are a good resource.

Any I've missed? All CD&D resources are welcome here, as well as non-system specific sites that are of value to players of CD&D. Share your favorites!

    0One Games Blueprints
    http://0onegames.com/catalog/index.php?manufacturers_id=12
0One's Blueprints are a great line of predrawn map packs ready for a DM to stock and use in his campaign. The best part is that the maps are done in Classic D&D style blue and white (hence the name, Blueprints).

0One also has some interesting lines of more modern style maps, as well as full color adventure tiles ready to print and use with miniatures.

    Flying Buffalo Games
    http://www.flyingbuffalo.com/catalyst.htm
Flying Buffalo is the publisher of two great lines of system-neutral products readily useful in a Classic D&D game:

Grimtooth's Traps: A great series of books featuring all the devious and deadly tricks and traps you'll ever need to torment your players.

Catalyst: These are the City Book line of products, each full of ready to use businesses and other locales ready to drop into a city to flesh things out a bit.

    The Trid Campaign
    http://www.tridrpg.org//
Classic D&D fan Erin D. Smale runs this cool site, focused on his world of Trid campaign. There are tons of great monsters, spells, optional rules and more that are read to use in any campaign, as well as some software tools and an archive of the OD&Dities Ezine.

    D&D Monster Repository

A sub-section of the Trid web site is the D&D Monster Repository. I've been contributing mostly giant animals and fairy monsters there so far, but see the Black Ice Bear for a Greyhawk-specific entry.
