AD&D Combat Computer

After describing my 2E (+house rule) modification of the original 1st Edition Combat Computer from Dragon Magazine #74 on an Enworld thread, several people asked if I could make it available to others. If there are people here interested in seeing it, I've put it up on my website at http://melkot.com/mechanics/combat-comp.html

While its a modified 2E calculator (I smoothed the to-hit/level and saving- throw/level progression as a house rule mod), really, it could easily be tweaked for any edition (including the non-WotC RPG versions) by any DM with a simple graphics-editing program.

Hmmm... ok, now that I've done a test-print, I don't like the resolution of those files. This weekend I'll put up doubled-resolution files. Shoulda done a test print first! Doh! Apologies... download time will be greater for those files, of course. Look for page version 1.5, rather then 1.0.

Denis, you mentioned saves: does your CC include saves as well then?

I've always loved my CC for 1e, and thought that they should do one for saving throws too.

Ok, the new high-resolution files are up now.
grodog... the smoothed saving throw chart is on the back-side of the disk (as just... well... a chart). Ya, it would be possible to create a similar calculator-disk for saving throws, but I've never seen one (and I've not done it).
