Alright, with the Demon Witch on the sculptor's bench I am at a point to start planning on the next miniature I will do in dedication to the fans of this wonderful site. This miniature will be funded by the profit from Canonfire's first miniature, the Demon Witch.

This time I am spreading it out to encompass more than villains.

There will be a suitable Eclavdra in my drow line, btw.

Yeah. The best way would be to email me your order and I will hunt out the best and cheapest shipping method. I'll mail them to Easter Island. The storefront I have only supports sales in the US. I put up a note on the store about International customers just emailing me what they want.

I lack the ability to make a real website, so I am gonna use an eCrater store for awhile. There is some more custom art coming to the store, and its shelves are empty, but here it is for future reference.

http://secretskeletonminiatures.ecrater.com/

If anyone has the skills to build us an e-commerce site that would be cool.

Zagyg got my vote (but then, I'm running some more Castle levels at cons this year ;) ).

I may do the winner and the runner up, both. I hate to keep cluttering up the boards with my polls, haha.

So I am going to say that the top three from this poll will get made between the end of this poll and throughout the next year.

We will be doing PC types somewhat inspired by the old action figure line, which will include Warduke. A win here just means he gets done earlier.

Now, I am also taking suggestions for good PC types to use.

I don't want anything too crazy specific, but good a good combination of costume and equipment can go far.

PM me if you want me to consider your guy. It goes without saying that if I choose you free stuff is coming your way.

Most of the PC types will have a static body pose, interchangeable hands, and very likely interchangeable heads.

Thanks M-S. In case you're curious/in the area, my last con stop was GaryCon 2 in Lake Geneva ~10 days ago. Next stop: North TX RPG Con in Dallas in June.

Yikes! My great-uncle Gary lives in Dallas and keeps asking me to come up and spend a few days with him! Woo-hoo! Happy

Did you say June, Grodog? That's definitely possible! Happy

Did I ever give you my e-mail, once upon a time? If I didn't, check your pm's and e-mail. Wink

But, to stay on topic, I think my "type" of PC has been over done, Chaotic, but I really look forward to "seeing" the submissions you receive and what you turn out. Cool

I'm definitely interested in a most of the personages listed in the poll, so truthfully it can't really go wrong from my POV.

Thread resurrection! Only now it is 1 HD less...

I should have the artwork for this miniature in a couple weeks.

There will be two in the set--decrepit evil old man and giant fat and clawed demon.

I have used the written descriptions from GHWiki for reference. I will put the art up before the commission is sent to be sculpted.

Not sure what the price will be, but I will get it as low as I can--as always!

Great sword, you say? I have not found mention of this. Optional hand?

It is mentioned in nearly every entry for Iuz, in any source book.

Just about all the "demon form" pictures I've seen show him with a Great Sword too. Wink

That is where I derived the information for his appearance from. At no point does it mention he fights with a great sword. It mentions his followers fight with greatsword and whips, but not his demon form.

I am not against this at all, I just figured CFs wiki would be the best place to go for his description.

Apparently not in this case. Every published entry for Iuz that I can think of off hand mentions the sword. Here's some excerpts:

ToEE: "This cruel being can appear as either a massive (7' tall) fat man with demoniac features, reddish skin, pointed ears, and long steely fingers, or as an old and wrinkled manikin scarcely 5 feet in height. Either might be luz' true form—or even both...In his demoniac form, luz prefers to wield a great two-handed sword + 3, though he can, of course, use other weapons. In any guise, luz can use his exceptionally long and sinewy digits to claw, strike, and strangle."

WoG boxed set: "In his demonic form, Iuz wield a two-handed sword +3...Iuz's cape conveys an additional 20% magic resistance and serves as +4 protection as well."

GHA: "He has been known to appear as an ogre-sized fat man with demonic features, reddish skin, pointed ears, and long steely fingers, and as a wrinkled old man scarcely five feet tall. In his demonic form, Iuz usually wields a great two-handed sword +3. In his old man form, Iuz can generate a disgusting spittle...He usually wears an old, short cape."

FtA: "Iuz can appear as a 7’-tall, red-skinned, steely fingered fiend, or as a shriveled old man five feet in height (he can take many forms; these are simply his habitual ones)...In his fiendish, taller form, Iuz usually employs a two-handed sword +3. In his old man form, he attacks with talons...His magical cloak, of deepest black, is a cloak of protection +4 which adds 20% to his magic resistance."

You might want to put a cape on him too(though it would be a cloak in size on his old man form). Wink
