Castle Zagyg announcement from Troll Lord Games

Quote:
Stephen Chenault, general manager of Troll Lord Games, wrote;

It is with great pleasure that I announce to the Society that Gary Gygax
and Troll Lord Games have signed contracts to bring two great products
to the table: Castle Zagyg and the Lejendary Adventure Role Playing
Game!

Castle Zagyg (or some derivative thereof) comprises the original
Greyhawk Castle game notes as they were played in the early days of
TSR. Expanded, edited and re-written where necessary, Castle Zagyg
utilizes the Castle and Crusade Players Handbook. Needless to say, we
are extremely excited in the dens and cannot help but think that the
Society had a major part in inspiring the direction of things to come!

TLG will bring these legendary dungeons to the gaming public jointly
with the C&CPH as early as next Spring.

Further, beginning this Spring TLG assumes the publication of the
Lejendary Adventure Role Playing Game, a fantasy game system by the
creator of Dungeons and Dragons. We are retooling the publication
schedule, launching the line with an LA primer in classic boxed set
form, with Rule Book, Monster Book, Character sheets and dice!
Playtesting for this may begin as early as next week and all Society
members are encouraged to join in the fun.

In a minor note I have updated the C&C webpage with the lists of the
Society. These reflect the size and rank of the various Lords and
Ladies of the Society. Take a moment and look it over, it can be found
at http://www.castlesandcrusades.com/lords.html

I have commissioned Peter Bradley for a device for my own Society
persona, Coburg the Undying Lord of the Red Tower. He began work on it
immediately and I am very excited to see it. I encourage all of you to
take the plunge, drop him a note and lay out your own heraldy!

And a small comment on the rules: Davis and Mac have been working hard
on getting an updated version out. Davis is looking at the end of next
week to have it up on the webpage for second round of playtesting .

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for your interest in
this, the main project of a Rule Lite version of the game we love, the
hard work, the cross posting and the general good everyone has displayed
toward us and the games. The Society has re-inspired both myself, Mac,
Todd and Davis and given us a new found purpose and energy. For we are
all kindred in our desire to bring out the best qualities of this very
great game.
