    Signature options broken!

    Hey all,

Has been some time since I last dropped here.

Now, I wanted to set up a new signature, and it somehow doesn't work.

I wanted to put in this text:

    Code:
    [url=http://blackmoor.mystara.us/forums/index.php]
    [img]http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w151/Des_the_Blackmoorian/2.gif[/img]
    [/url]

    To get this:

What am I doing wrong/is this my error?

My last sig was in BBCode, too, and displayed finely. :)

    Yours,

    Rafe

I had a little look around, and it seems that the signature function isn't broken, it is just in an odd, wonky place. I have fixed yours for you, but as everyone will want to know how to put in such a signature(or a text link) so that it works, here is what everyone needs to do:

    1. Go to your Account page.

    2. Scroll down to where it says Upload Avatar from your machine:, and click on the link to the right of that which says Upload Through Forum Profile. This will take you to a somewhat differently formatted Forum Profile page. The Avatar settings are there to be sure, but so are the proper Signature settings.

    3. Once you are at this different Forum Profile page, go ahead and paste your code in the Signature box there, scroll to the bottom of the page, and hit the Submit button.

As you can see by my new signature, that ought to take care of it. Wink

As a general note to all, this should work with all text links too. Also, your signature images should be 120 pixels high x 600 pixels long, and 40kb or less in size(and preferably smaller in all aspects). Larger signature images will be removed. As usual, observe the Forum Rules with regard to what sort of sites/material you link to.

Ah, thank you very much, Cebrion!

(Well, it's a bit late, but nonetheless. Smile )

Now, very obviously, it works! Smile
