Happened to me a while back. I think another member stole it. Cry

    No idea. Try resetting it.

If you see another member using a *unique* avatar that is yours, let me know who they are, and I will flense it from their profile. Evil Really, I'll do it. Evil Grin

    Thanks, Cebrion, that worked. Happy

I deleted my "signature," so don't concern yourself with that. I'll be replacing it with a newer one soon.

    Thanks again! Cool

Thanks, Cebrion, but it was a stock avatar I was using. Razz

I've tried uploading several pics to use as avatars from my computer, but the system won't do it. I use the browse button next to "Upload avatar from your computer," but it just refreshes the page every time without uploading the avatar. Confused

    What am I doing wrong?

Hmm, nothing that I can tell. That's exactly how I upload mine . . . and I just did it again, as you can see. Worked for me.

When's the last time you "cleaned" your computer? Defrag, Disc clean-up, etc.?

Never on this computer. It's about a year old. Guess it's time. Embarassed

Not sure why that would be the problem, though.

I "clean" mine weekly. You'd be surprised at the problems it can cause. Wink

While you're at it, check for and delete all duplicate files. You'll probably be surprised at how many of those you'll find.

Also make sure that your avatar file is not too big, both dimension wise (120 x 120 pixels) and file size wise (24 kb). If either are too large the image will be refused. I recommend going with 110 x 110 pixels in dimension and a 20 kb file size, just to be sure. Try that and see what happens.

    Woohoo! It worked, fellas. Happy

I checked the sized and found that both the pictures I was trying to use were slightly larger than 120 pixels on one dimension. Took me a while to figure out how to change that, but I did. Razz

Thanks, Mystic, but I only found it online awhile back. Smile
