IMC, the Flan of the Rakers/Bone March/Ratik are "Highland" types. While I have not done a write-up on them per se, you can get a sense of my thoughts in -

    Check Ivid the Undying

I am guessing here, but there are the Highlander Castles along the eastern banks of the Teesar Torrent in North Kingdom. While I do not know about any kind of Scottish derivative, Ivid the Undying indicates the Highlander Castles in its North Province chapter, specifcally pages 51-52.

Just a thought. Check it out and see if the above referenced text matches what you are thinking, PrinceofCincinnati. My understanding is that the Highlander Castles have neither commercial nor Living Greyhawk development.

I hope this helps. Happy gaming.

Yep, Nort Province or the Theocracy, IMHO.

"Oeridians typically favor checks and plaids. Aerdi and Nyrondel houses tend to wear plaids, while the southern and weswtern Oeridians favor checks, often of a diamond pattern or similar variation from the standard square."

-- excerpted from "A Guide to the World of Greyhawk Fantasy Setting", 1983 boxed set.

Apparently only Oeridians are known for wearing plaids.

So, the Aerdi highland castles and environs would be a good place for something of a Scottish flavor apparently, as Aerdi is about as Oeridian as you can get. The clothing fits, but the culture might not neccessarily be the same as real world Scotts. Make it what you want in any case- its your campaign.

I think Ratik is the most similar. Pseudo-norse barbarians to the north, and a stand-in English empire to the south.
