Tharizdun Adventure Dungeon #152

New module by WOTC featuring Tharizdun. Haven't read it yet but it does include Lareth the Beautiful. Its entitled Essence of Evil.

Re: Tharizdun Adventure Dungeon #152

It's a pretty thin adventure, story-wise, but having said that, it's looks like a good shell for me to use as the capstone to my RttToEE campaign. I've known for a while that I wanted a climactic, near release of Tharizdun at or around level 20 for my campaign, but was never able to pin down an idea for it. Now I can use this location, and add my own story to wrap around this "dungeon". In my campaign, it was the First that survived, not Lareth. So I'll be using him (instead of Lareth) but will keep the rest of the location largely the same. I'm also thinking of moving it from over the Crater Ridge Mines to over the Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun, but I've got a while before I have to work that in.

Oh boy! New Tharizdun source material? Muahaha.

This looks pretty good as pseudo-GH mods go. I happened to look at the recently released Elder Evils last week and was impressed by the content. This Tharizdun mod in Dungeon supports that product. Epic threats/monsters are something I could've used years ago, so the book is mostly useless to me unless I stick with 3.5E. Kudos to Dungeon on this one, good to see them push out a few more hawkish mods before they obliterate their fluff in 4E next year.

Hmmm... interesting! I'll definitely have to check it out.
Thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks Eileen! I am not checking into CF! a great deal, and WOTC never, so thanks for letting us know.
