    The Walled City of Exag

Has anyone done much history on this city? It barely gets any mention in Living Greyhawk or the original. I am looking for background if it is available.

Hope this helps. I believe it was excised info from the LGG.

A vague connection is provided in the articles:

It seems like the convoluted script, discovered by the Gord expedition into the Suss, is of the Tharizdun spiral pattern, one and the same with the pattern of the Exag discs.

    Cheers,

Thank you, these do help. Since the the present people of Exag do not have " Crafter" lineage, they moved into the abandoned city when they found it I guess. Definately gives me more to work with.
    Thanks again.

You should also note that the references I provided are an ongoing research. You should also read Iquander's Cairn Builders article. The original residents of Exag most likely abandoned the city to assist the forces of Law in the mythic battle of Law vs. Chaos, at the plains of Pesh (Sheldomar Valley?). It is not straightforward that they built or re-inhabited the lost city. What seems to have happened is that, prior to the advent of the humans (Flans), a now lost civilisation was flourishing.
    Cheers,
