    It's been a while...

A few new interior pieces I've done for a megadungeon module for Sacrosanct Games coming out later in the year.

I love your work for multiple reasons, but man, your use of lighting really blows me away!

Glad, you never cease to amaze. Your skill is obviously unlimited, knowing no bounds.

You produce great pieces and I really look forward to seeing more of them.

    Absolutely awesome.

Though I am at a loss to know what that last picture depicts, the guy in chains.

Looks "horrible" enough . . . if that's a "fate," that is. Laughing

Are you drawing on a computer with a special stylus? I'm wondering how you got the black so solid if you are using ink. If you're using ink, are you doing a pencil drawing first and tracing like the comic guys do or separately?

    Thanks again, Mystic-Scholar!

And to answer your question, Raymond, I do everything traditionally with pen and ink. I wouldn't begin to know how to draw digitally. That being said, I do scan my finished pieces in and use Gimp to strengthen the contrast and make the darks darker so as to help eliminate any pen strokes that may show.

    Here's a 14"x 17" commissioned piece I just got done with for a client...

    Awesome, Glad27! Happy

Reminds me of the purple worm in Descent Into the Depths of the Earth.

Fun stuff! The old school looking kobolds in a shield wall formation ranks pretty high up there on my all-time list of GLAD favorites. Cool

    Artwork

Those are great, Glad! Want to do some art for an old homebrewed module? My brother and a friend and I wrote it back in the '80s; now I'm going back and reworking it and (substantially) improving it, and plan to submit it to Dragonsfoot (plus give away copies to anyone interested).

Great art! One of the things I love is the facial expressions, everything from surprise, to defiance, to fear (none of the bland "anger" artwork that is so common). I'd make only one suggestion: More! Cool

    Bugbear attack...

    Death Knight and Spectre...

    Roper encounter...

    Cambion and Dretch...

    Evil Myconid...

Wow! These are all awesome, Glad, but I like the Cambion and Dretch best. Smile

Glad, I envy your artistic ability. My sketches are crude and rudimentary compared to your drawings. I am far more skilled with the written word instead.

A bard to each his own, I guess.

I've seen the OP's art on Dragonsfoot.

It's really nice stuff. I like the action and humor I see in these pieces.

If kobolds were as adorable as those in the shield wall picture, I'm not sure how anyone could fight them!

In all seriousness though, tremendous work all around.
