I cleaned up a bunch of busted links in the Downloads section, and restored some files that had gone missing(many more to go).
As usual, continue to post any broken links in this thread, with a description of the the problem and a link to the page that the broken link is on, and I'll look into it as soon as I am able to do so. _________________ - Moderator/Admin (in some areas)/Member -

Not if you only leave a comment. You also have to click on the "Report Broken Link" button after leaving your comment. That is what reports the broken link. The comment option merely allows one to attach an explanation of the problem they are having. Otherwise, without clicking the "Report Broken Link" button, you have just left a comment which may, or may not in this case, be noticed.
The best way to report a broken link is to do so using the "Report Broken Link" text link near the bottom of the entry on the Downloads page. It doesn't include a comment, but it notifies us immediately, and provides a file link for the admin as well. The Vetha link was fixed a while back. Sorry that I didn't reply to this post. The file may be found in the Downloads section HERE, or more directly HERE. _________________ - Moderator/Admin (in some areas)/Member -

The link to Oerth Journals link in the features section on the the left hand side goes to a page where all the actual links to the journals are broken. I found the link to the new site.
Not sure if you want to update the landing page or the link to go directly there.
not sure if it is related to this old report... but there seems to be a similarly described error at the same location,,,,
the error reported is as follows
The requested URL /oerthjournals/OJ_06.pdf was not found on this server.
it occurs when using
http://www.canonfire.com/cf/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=2
links at the bottom
Sorry I haven't replied to this thread in some time. Regarding the previous post, I only have a total of 10 image files for all of the Cartography & Geography Articles that are posted, and some of those are just thumbnail images. Not every article has a link to a map image in it, though most do, and some links lead off-site and are defunct. I can do nothing about these latter defunct links, other than host the missing file (s) on Canonfire! (and update the links of course), but only in the event that I either have that file squirreled away somewhere and can find it, or if somebody else has it and can provide it.
If anyone has missing files for any Articles, then drop me a PM and let me know, and I will see about updating things. _________________ - Moderator/Admin (in some areas)/Member -
