    Mur and Risay

Where are these two located? Are there any maps that detail/show their locations? It is my belief that they are located on the western side of the Gulf of Ghayar but I can't seem to locate them. Thanks in advance..... Smile

They both appear on this map on the eastern side of the gulf, but I think you're right that they belong on the other side.

    Risay and Mur

In "The Baklunish West Part II" it states the Risay, Mur and Komal are western nations. I look forward to Central Oerik being fleshed out in the "Beyond The Flanaess" project.............Thanks for the response. Smile

Dragon #136 confirms that Mur is across the Dramidj Ocean from the Flanaess. See also this thread.

I have been working on the Gulf of Ghayar for the "beyond the flaness" project andhave created a rough regional map via paint with the approval of Duicarthan.

The wiki article seems to be based on paizo infromation so is it considered "canon" as I could be an extenstive rewrite but don't know if I like the whole "lost race" and deceptive demon monks.

Its late, sorry about the spelling

Paizo stuff was canon for Paizo, and for anything the Paizo staff worked on. Dragon and Dungeon were "100% Official Content" for WotC, which didn't stop them from contradicting them when it suited them. Living Greyhawk generally ignored Paizo.

Honestly, two versions of Mur is better than one version. That way we can pick and choose.

The Shensite monks aren't deceptive or demonic, though. They're pacifists.

We've been looking forward to seeing the finished product for quite some time, Crag. (hint, hint) Wink

Still can't wait to see it. Happy

*By the way, haven't had an email from Bubbagump in quite sometime, he still working on that with you?* Confused

    I know I know

bubbagump has ran into personal problems but we still email. I have all the material and I am trying to wrestle it into a coherent whole. The problem is not the material but Duicarthan suggested regional connections and like fools we took up the challenge.

So the Gulf has trade ties with the Celestial which interacts with Darak Urtag and Erypt. Bubbagump and I wanted to get them close before the release of one to ensure internal coherence. They are close but with bubbagump taking a break, well deserved as it is, I am at half speed. It is the niggling details which are so time-consuming and I want to do the region some justice.

    Celestial Imperium
    Darak Urtag
    Domain of the Giant king
    Gulf of Ghayar
    Holy Kingdom of Erypt

I would love a fresh set of eyes...anyone interested...contact me.

I'm still in New Orleans, remodeling my Aunt's bathroom. Sad

However, my desktop was sent down from Colorado to my new place in the Houston area . . . mega power! And plenty of R.A.M. Evil Grin

So, when I get back home, I'll be happy to "dive into it" with you, if you'd like. Happy

Should be back home early next week. Wink
