    REF1: Greyhawk Location?

I have looked at this RPGA Tournament Adventure for the 1st time today, which is entitled Terrible Trouble at Tragidore. It came with a 2nd Ed. Dungeon Master's Screen and I wonder if anyone has used it and where they placed it in ghawk?

I was thinking just south of the Bramblewood might work...

OMG I remember running that. But for my life I can't find it or recall how I used it. Give me some background on the plot and it might shake my memory.

I put it in the gnarley forest when I ran it, and gave it loose ties to blackthorn

    Yes indeed!

I ran this adventure many years ago as a sidetrack adventure to my ToEE campaign.

I placed it a day or so travel from Nulb and called the town Sobanwych (I also changed the name of the adventure to "Suspicious Strife in Sobanwych").

The first lot of PCs I threw against it all died! But then, would you believe they knocked on the tower door!!!!!

The second lot of PCs I sent against it all succeeded.

They adventure has some interesting encounters on the road and some good bits of mystery, but I noticed that when I ran it (and bear in mind I was a novice GM back then!) the adventure turned into a bit of a boring hack'n'slash with the dark elfs at the climax.

In my version, the drow weren't mining for gold, they were unearthing an Elemental Evil sword that would help Lolth track down the Gems of Power in the Elemental Nodes in the ToEE. Once they had these, they'd then aquire the Orb of Golden Death!

Ahh yes, Dark Elf female and human slaves, sounds like the start of something kinky. Shocked Gnarley Forest I agree. Damn I wonder what I did with that adventure. Confused
