    Rhennee Barge

I seem to recall there being plans for a Rhennee barge published in something but can't recall what. Anybody know what I'm talking about or have made-up/found something else that would work, that they'd be willing to share? Thanks.

    Hmm...

Weren't there a few Rhennee barges in the 'Dock Chase' map in The Mad God's Key adventure in Dungeon Magazine (the one Mystic-Scholar is writing about)?

Yeah, those look like barges. That'll do. Thanks! I'm gonna try and make them 3-d for an encounter.

How did the 3d transformation go?

I used to use sailing the high seas alot in my campaigns so I'm sure I have some templates buried in my hard drive for such use as well as ship-to-ship combat rules, hex paper backlaid with water and islands etc....

Just about anything and everything for ship campaigning.

I ended up not having the battle on the river, but I did end up making a model of a small square-rigged single masted caravel for later use. I placed the mast a little too far aftward. Not that it would have bothered the players, but I know it. Unfortunately the campaign crashed and burned before I could get to use it. I'm thinking of starting a new campaign based on my 3e ( I run 4e now) Wild Copast campaign. The first encounter is a battle off the coast of Onnwal with a pirate galley, so I'll need to make a galley model to go with this. I may do the caravel over also. I'd like to make it a little longer and give it two masts, with the mizzenmast being lateen-rigged. I learned a lot on how to do the next one by doing this first one. Here it is -

    That's great, smillan_31! Happy

It appears to be an excellent prop for use with your miniatures.

    Indeed.

I appear to have been on a different page. I had not thought of the 3rd edition with miniature use, so my content would not have been helpful anyway. Sad

It's all good. You never know when you're going to need ship-to-ship combat rules to work with, so now I know who to ask. Smile
