    Shadow Dancers in Greyhawk

Hello All. In my game, one character has take the Shadowdancer prestige class, and is affiliated with a Troupe of other Dancers. I have helped her detail this group some, and have tagged them as devout followers of Oldimarra... good natured, often comedic, and rarely concerned with such trivialities as ownership.

I would appreciate any input others have on the role/history/present situation of Shadow Dancers in Greyhawk.

    Again

I posted again in hopes of enticing some response. I am very interested in what anyone has done with SD in their campaign.

in my game shadow dancers are almost exclusivly Baklunish and belong to an obscure sect of Xan Yae worshipers.

I haven't used them per se but in addition to the excellent idea of Xan Yae, I could see SD's among the rhenee as well.

In the campaign I am DM, I have a guild that trains Shadow Dancers especially shadow rangers (which I believe to a very powerful combination). The guild finds people who are at the end of their rope figuratively or literally (kind of Spawn blended with Nikka thing). They are broken and remodel into eventually becoming Shadows Dancers whose final test to reach 2nd level requires a survival test on the small node of the Shadow Plane. It makes the character’s background one that is more difficult to play as well as making it more challenging to become a Shadow Dancer.
