    The Borgias

And while we're talking about gaming-relevant television series, has anyone else been watching The Borgias? I like a more political game, so I've been enjoying the intrigue. Plus it uses a number of unknowns (as well as lesser known knowns), so stills from the show have proven a rich source of pictures for various NPC's in my game.

I agree with your opinion on the visuals, I too have cannibalied several screen shots.... but must admit, I find the show terribly slow program. Although I have only watched the first 3 on netflix.

I agree, the first season is a little slow, although it picks up some in the latter half of the season. The second season has much more going on, although there was at least on thing that I thought was a little ridiculous, but that's television.

I've been following this show along with DaVinci's Demons with some interest. Fun watching, if one isn't a stickler for historical details. Although I'd give The Borgias a higher rating in that category.

It's nice to see a few shows that highlight the less...happy...aspects of the Renaissance Church. I'd love to see it get the same treatment of its behavior in the 19th, 20th centuries, as well as today.

I know a lot about the Borgias...I'm kind of a history buff...which is why I'm interested in the first place, but not really keen on the soap opera route..
