Crusader Kings 2 modded for Greyhawk?

Howdy.

As a great fan of "Crusader Kings 2" game, has anyone ever considered modding said game for Greyhawk?

It's current mechanics are quite well suited to simulate the various nations of the world (Perhaps Iuz aside) and it's various modifiers have acquired some press space on gaming magazines, especially it's "Game of Thrones" mod.

And there is at least already one D&D mod out there for "Birthright". History of Greyhawk would certainly offer several interesting starting points.

So, any modders here who might be interested in attempting to work something out?

I always thought a mod of Medieval Total War 2 would have been ideal.

I always wondered about that. I know zip about licensing and all that. Wouldn't any mod in a game system (MTW 2, Crusader Kings 2, Civ 5, whatever) that was on the web be seen as copyright infringement? As for my part, I wish someone could code a "Greyhawk Wars" war game.

Well, "Game of Thrones", "Birthright", "Winter King" have not received any "cease-and-desist" orders and even "Warhammer" mod is under works so I fail to see how Greyhawk would get any more attention.

Medieval 2 has Lord of the Rings and whatnot mods for it too.
