Greyhawk Reborn at Dreamation in New Jersey (USA)

Note: We wanted to provide information regarding Greyhawk Reborn to the many Greyhawk fans out there. We just want you fine folks to know we are out putting Greyhawk forward, and want to keep you apprised of what we are doing. If anyone is local to northern New Jerseyand wishes to stop and chat, or play, come on in. We will likely continue posting about what we are doing to Canonfire in the future, unless this is inapprorpriate for the site. Thank you!

    Greyhawk Reborn at Dreamation 2016!

We are very happy to announce that Greyhawk Reborn will be a part of Dreamation 2016 on February 18-21, 2016 in Morristown, NJ. At least four tables of Greyhawk Reborn adventures will be available during each slot at Dreamation, with more in available in the prime time of the weekend.

We will be premiering 7 brand new Greyhawk Reborn adventures, and will also be offering our first GHR interactive special event of the year, a Syzygynetic Evening! Strange things are afoot in the City of Shelswake. Barge people from the far corners of the Oerth are setting up camps outside the town. Olman refugees from the Sea Princes have been dancing in some strange ritual for days. The Stargazers are warning the common folk to take shelter for Celene is crying tears of blood. But I'm sure it's nothing a few drinks at The Loyal Lion Inn can't resolve.

So come to Dreamation 2016 for 9 slots of Greyhawk Reborn goodness. Preregistration is now open!

You may register at http://www.dexposure.com/d2016i.html, and additional information may be found at http://www.dexposure.com/d2016.html

Dreamation 2016 is being held at the Morristown Hyatt and Conference Center in Morristown, New Jersey.

Once you have registered for Dreamation and signed up for Greyhawk Reborn games through their system, we'd ask that you go to our GHR Warhorn site for Dreamation. We ask that you please also sign up for your games there. That will allow the Greyhawk Reborn staff to do some pre-mustering before the convention, and will also allow you to see how tables are shaking out. You may follow this link:

Here are the adventure descriptions for our Greyhawk Reborn Dreamation premieres:

GHR-GEO16-01 Withering Energy by John Jones & Josh Zenker - A job offer from a powerful alchemist in the Geoffan city of Hochoch takes you on an unexpected adventure to the Near Realm. A one-round, Story-arc Universal Wilderness-Planar adventure for character levels 5-10, and Part 1 of the Dalliance with Dragons story.

GHR-KEO16-03 Enlightened Negotiations by William Gardino - After declaring independence from Keoland, the Theocracy of Ravonnar must have allies or be swallowed by the darkness. A one round Stand-alone Social Urban adventure set in the Theocracy of Ravonnar for characters level 1-4. Note: You should not play this module with the same PC as previous modules in Mandismoor.

GHR-KEO16-04 Fort Carroll by Keith Garrigan and Sam “Carroll” Garrigan - The Viscounty of Nume Eor is seeking adventurers to explore and clear a small island in the Javan River. It has been unclaimed for decades, what will you find as you explore? A one-round Story-arc Universal Wilderness adventure in the Viscounty of Nume Eor for character levels 1-4, and Part 1 of the Closing the Gates story arc.

GHR-SEA16-02 Rock & Hard Place by TJ Shorb & Nick Haws - If there is one thing dwarves love, its precious gems and ores. One dwarf has a proposition that surely will bring the adventurers and himself some of both. However, he needs a little help. Are you willing to assist? A one-round Story-arc universal wilderness adventure for character levels 8-13, and Part 1 of the Strings in the Shadows story arc.

GHR-SEA16-03 Building Castles by Ron Frye & Jay Styinski - Duchess Irma has sent out another call for aid. This time, there has been no word from the Keep of Alderweg, the duchy’s impregnable bastion of defense, for weeks. Could the fortress have fallen, and if so, to who (or what)? A one-round Story-arc, Tactical, Planar adventure set in the Duchy of Berghof and elsewhere during CY 616 for levels 6-14, and Part 3 of the Heir Apparent Story arc.

GHR-GBN16-666 Did We Go Into the Darkness, or Did the Darkness Go Into Us? by John Blaise Lent - As a reward for your heroism, you and five friends have come into possession of a secluded vacation estate at a well appointed lodge on Whyestil Lake. Rest and relaxation await you (on the borders of the land formerly controlled by one of the most infamous lords of evil, the demonic Iuz and his armies of creatures from beyond the natural world.) What could possibly go wrong? A one-round sneak preview Special Event suitable for characters of all tiers. Any number may sign up, but only six of the PC's who complete the Dreamation Interactive will be selected, based on the results of that mission; survival chances dubious. See Chancellor Stoakdor Redlee Neheli during the interactive for more details. This adventure contains mature subject matter, parental approval required by players under the age of 18.

GHR-STE16-01 Shabh Al'eadl by John Blaise Lent - Crime runs rampant in the southern district of Istivin. Since its noble lord disappeared eighteen years hence, few have respected the rule of the foreign born Lady Regent. When you stand up in the name of justice, will you lead the way back to order, or will you be mowed down by the will of tyrants? A one-round Social Urban adventure for character levels 5-10, and Part 1 of the "Silk in the Swinepen" series.

This sounds like a wonderful idea, and you guys deserve the highest praise for keeping the flame alive.

Do you have a sourcebook that describes the changes in the Flanaess and where each of the states stand in 615 CY? I looked on your website, but I couldn't seem to find one.

No, no real sourcebook. Most of our adventures take place in the Sheldomar Valley, with an emphasis on Keoland & the Sea Princes, and we are in 616CY. We had worked up a brief 3 page synopsis of what happened between the end of LG in 598 CY to the beginning of GHR in 613 CY. If folks want, I could post that here.

I'm game, if anyone else is.

Just out of curiosity, was there any change in the status of states that were ruined during the Greyhawk Wars, such as Geoff, the Shield Lands, Tenh or Idee?

Just a follow up to Greyhawk Reborn at Dreamation in New Jersey, USA this past weekend.

We ran 26 tables of Greyhawk Reborn over the 9 slots of the convention, with 3 tables most slots, and 4 for the Saturday afternoon interactive. We saw a lot of of return players, and pulled in a table's worth of new players, who played once and kept coming back all weekend!

We will be at GAD Con near Baltimore, Maryland on March 5 & 6, at 1d4 Con in Martinsburg, West Virginia on April 15-17, and MEPACon in Scranton, Pennsylvania on April 22-24.

We will also be at Gen Con this August, and are hoping to see some of the fine Canonfire devotees in Indianapolis, maybe even at our tables!
