Cool. I think we have a new St. Cuthbert-ish item to add the magic item section of various game editions.
Griffon's Claw: This rare item takes the form of a drinking vessel fashioned from a largish, hollowed-out griffon claw; the rim and claw tip of which are often chased in precious metal and encrusted with jewels. More often associated with the lands of the West, the griffon's claw is seldom seen in the central and far eastern Flanaess, except among the followers of St. Cuthbert, as one such item is purported to have once belonged to the deity.
Three times per day, a griffon's claw can neutralize poison upon any beverage it contains. Once per week, the griffon's claw may be filled with holy water, which it can transform into a potion of neutralize poison. This potion must be drank directly from the griffon's claw, and loses its efficacy immediately if poured into another container.
Now we just need some nutter to write the story of how St. Cuthbert came to posses his griffon's claw. Any takers? _________________ - Moderator/Admin (in some areas)/Member -
