All signed, can't understand why they would use the deities and famous names from Greyhawk and not support it

For those who use DMsGuild and are aspiring Greyhawk writers I have a question. Does Wizards use of Mordenkainen on the cover and content of this upcoming book make the character fair game for 3rd party works? Could I make a Mordenkainens Guide to Force Spells for instance? It's not Greyhawk per se, but that's their rules right?

Similarly borrowing the format of Tales From the Yawning Portal, a Forgotten Realms cover with Greyhawk content...could I make and publish Tales From Shadowdale - an anthology of stories told by Elminster about adventures he "heard about" set in another world that happened to be Greyhawk?
