Greyhawk to Sigil and Back again

Supposed I wanted to have players take a trip to Sigil, take in the sights, and return home to Oerth an experienced traveler, are there any adventures the worthies here would recommend? I'm not looking for something that has Sigil take over the campaign world, but something that makes players aware of it's existence and place in the multiverse.

"To Baator and Back" from The Well of Worlds anthology is a short adventure that (after exploring an abandoned wizard's lair on the Material Plane) dumps the party initially to Avernus, the first of the Nine Hells, where they have to survive until they find a portal to Sigil. It's meant as an introduction to the planes for low-level parties.

"For the Price of a Rose" in the Planescape boxed set is another adventure meant to introduce beginning characters to Sigil. The player characters investigate a mysterious thief and it turns out they're using a shifting portal in Sigil to steal from a local noblewoman on the player characters' plane.

The short story "The Weird Occurrence in Odd Alley" from Gary Gygax's Gord the Rogue collection Night Arrant is essentially this. Gord and his friend Chert discover a mysterious portal in the City of Greyhawk that whisks them to an extraplanar city full of portals to alternate worlds. They get in trouble and finally manage to find a portal that dumps them in the royal court in Nyrond. Which gets them in more trouble...

I've been using a small, framework adventure that I picked up on DriveThruRPG to do exactly this sort of thing. The adventure is called "Brutal Imperilment In The Bag of Infinite Holding". You can pick up the pdf for just a couple of dollars (although I prefer print myself).

The conceit of the adventure is that bags of holding placed inside bags of holding create portals to pretty much anywhere you want to send your group. There are several layers of bags inside this thing so all the party have to do is climb into the bag & find the right path through (& hopefully back again).

As DM, I embellished the whole thing quite heavily (I had Modrons doing the maintenance work throughout the bag, for instance). We got a totally unreasonable amount of fun out of it, as my group tried to figure out what on earth this bag was that they had picked up.

I had actually just finished "The Weird Occurrence in Odd Alley" which prompted this post. :D May my players have a better landing.

    Thanks for the suggestions Rasgon!
