    Burglary at Greysmere

The party is currently wintering at Greysmere in the Domain of Greyhawk.

One of the PCs, Pappy Dickens, a member of the Greyhawk Thieves Guild, has learned that Fionor the Rude, headsman of Greysmere, is in possession of Acererak's Libram (Dragon #225, pp53-54). Fionor intends to soon melt the book down for its valuable adamantine and mithril materials and remake them into something useful, like a weapon or tool.

Pappy Dickens has also learned that the perfect opportunity for a burglary will occur when Fionor's daughter is married (to another PC), whereupon the entirety of Fionor's family will escort the bride to her new home with another family, and the family residence will be vacant for 20 or 30 minutes.

The player hasn't decided if he, a guest at Greysmere, dares robbing the headsman during his daughter's wedding . . . but he might.

I've decided the Tome will be kept in Fionor's personal chambers, obviously trapped and hidden in some way.

What I don't have, in case this occurs, is a map & description of Fionor's dwarven family residence where the burglary would take place.

Can anyone think of a module or supplement or such (doesn't have to be for Greyhawk) that contains a good dwarven family residence that I could steal and use? for the map, if nothing else

Bonus Points: suggestions for dwarven traps/protections/obstacles.

The thief is 8th level, if that matters.

Well, that is just superb. Thanks, Rasgon, for the I-don't-remember-how-manyeth time.

I'm going to want to crank up the threat on those traps in the secret room, however (without going full on Grimtooth), so I'd still love to hear any suggestions on that front.

Sorry for the shameless 2e plug, but check out the Complete Book of Dwarves for any ideas regarding dwarven culture, customs, attitudes, and the like. It might inspire you how to run that adventure you have in mind.

-I still consult it. Most of it is universal anyway, and I can convert anything AD&D2 specific.
