The PC's aid is requested by a small village several days travel west of Greyhawk. The inhabitants claim a giant, furry dragon flew down from the sky a week ago, and has been devouring the local landscape ever since. They beg the PCs assistance in dealing with the monster before it eats everything in the region.

    1) The Area Around the Monster's Lair (Hex #51)

For several miles around the village the ground has been torn up and great tracts of vegitation has been devoured, along with cows, sheep, and a gazillion other little things.

    2) The Entrance to the Monster's Lair

A dark tunnel leads into the earth. Ten feet tall, round in shape, the earth has retained the impression of titanic feet, vaguely reptilian in appearance. The air smells musty, and characters with allergies must make a Fort Save, DC 15, or begin sneezing uncontrollably.

    3) The Monster's Lair (duh)

A giant chamber has been dug out of the earth. Any noise or light draws the attention of the chamber's denizen.

Giant Behampstir: CR 9; SZ Huge (magical beast); HD 11d10+55; 124 hp; Init +0; Spd 40 ft, burrow 20 ft; AC 18 (-2 size, +10 natural); Atk Bite +16 (2d8+8), 6 claws +11 (1d4+4); Face 10 ft by 30 ft; Reach 10 ft; SA breath weapon (acid blast, 20' cone, 9d4 Reflex half DC 19), improved grab, swallow whole; SQ damage reduction 15/+3, scent, can't be tripped, SR 25, hasted; SV Fort +11, Ref +6, Will +1; Str 26, Dex 10, Con: 21, Int 5, Wis 7, Chr 16; Skills Climb +17, Hide +4, Spot +1; Feats: Power Attack, Improved Bull Rush

The giant behampstir, an abomination created by the really ill-thought out alliance of Zagig Yragerne and a flock of space-faring gnomes, is an unnatural mixture of behir and giant hampster. It is 40' long, with 10 pairs of legs supporting a long, serpentine, furred body and a chubby-cheeked hampster head the size of a small cottage. The giant behampstir has lost the ability to project lightning, but can regurgitate stomach acid and spew it forth once every 1d4 rounds. Giant behampstirs have a high Charisma score on account of their fuzziness. After it's creation, Zagig decided he didn't like it and gave it to the gnomes, who fly off with it. The giant behampstir lived happily for a very long time (far longer than anyone expected), until on one long voyage, the gnomes ran out of the barrelled soft food the behampstir liked. In a fit of pique over being offered dry food, the giant behampstir ate all the gnomes and their ship, including the spelljamming helm. Suddenly -really- alone, the giant behampstir, confused, headed for the earliest home it knew under the power of the spelljamming helm it had eaten. It crashlanded near Greyhawk just in time to frighten villagers, and has since been consuming everything it can (it was a long flight and it lost a few tons in weight it's trying to regain). The spelljamming helm has been digested and the giant behampstir can no longer fly, though it did gain a permant haste effect, a SR resistance, and damage reduction from the experience.

This joke encounter could have been saved by any attempt to tie it to a location in the setting. Even to say that the behampstir terrorizes Womtham..?

The first warm days of louis vuitton outlet [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] spring are generally a good time to size up the new spring fashion, but people don't seem to have their acts together yet — least of all the clerks in the Barneys shoe salon. The other day I was browsing when a young man in a bright louis vuitton online store [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] green checked shirt approached and asked if he could give me any information about the Saint Laurent shoe I was cradling in my hands. That vintage louis vuitton luggage [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] was worn by a Kardashian maybe? What? Instead, I moved away from the dude as quickly as I could. Was he really a salesman? In a bright green checked shirt and slacks? The thought crossed my warped mind that maybe cheap louis vuitton travel bags [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] he was the boyfriend of a customer who, to pass the time in a more pleasurable manner, was pretending to help fashion-addled women. I could see Seth Rogen in the movie role. When I got louis vuitton wallet outlet [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] to Bergdorf's shoe salon, which was agreeably mobbed with demanding young women with shoe boxes spilling open at their feet, I felt better. At least the sales people looked like sales people, and not bad boyfriends. AT 8 p.m. on a rainy Louis Vuitton Belt [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] Tuesday last month, Salman Rushdie strode into Junoon, a Flatiron district restaurant where 90 people awaited his arrival, some sipping chamomile-infused Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 N41535 [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] vodka cocktails. Mr. Rushdie, the Indian-born British author, was the guest of honor at a dinner sponsored by Dom Pérignon and Booktrack, the maker of an app that synchronizes music to e-books. Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM outlet [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] was the second party that night for Mr. Rushdie, 64, who earlier in the evening could be found chatting with Diane Von Furstenberg at a downtown show for the artist Ouattara Watts, hosted by Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, one of his Louis Vuitton Alma bag [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] gallerists. At Junoon, after plates of baby eggplant and lamb were scraped clean, Mr. Rushdie grabbed an iPad and read aloud his short story In the South, which louis vuitton totally PM [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] appeared in The New Yorker in 2009 and which Booktrack had scored to original music played by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. After he finished, Mr. Rushdie approached a long-legged, slim brunet woman sitting at the end of a long Louis Vuitton Delightful Monogram PM [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] table. How did I do? Mr. Rushdie asked. She cooed over the recitation, and he thanked her for coming. As he walked away, she turned to a fellow Louis Vuitton Totally GM N51263 [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] partygoer. It's nice to see him out, isn't it? she said. Perhaps a more apt question would be: where haven't New Yorkers seen Mr. Rushdie lately? Nearly 25 years after the publication of The Satanic Verses, which forced Mr. Rushdie into hiding Louis Vuitton Artsy MM outlet [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] for a decade after Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini condemned the novel and issued a fatwa calling for his death, Mr. Rushdie has emerged as an indefatigable louis vuitton factory [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] presence on the New York night-life scene. http://www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com/ [www.louisvuittonoutletfans.com] Dami
