Crocodile trees are large reptiles that take advantage of the hunting strategy used by numerous types of carnivorous plants. That is, they pretend to be completely harmless, only to launch a vicious surprise attack upon their victims at an opportune moment. The greenish-brown scales in their trunk, or torso region, appear as bark. Their reddish-green leafy tails are rubbery and scale-less. When lying in wait, they bury their heads under water, vegetation, soil, or similar concealment. They are pseudo-amphibious and capable of sufficient breathing through their hides when in a dormant state awaiting prey. These animals are indigenous to the swamps and jungles of the Amedio and Hepmonaland regions. Some say they are the product of Olman eco-manipulation, but this has yet to be proven. A few, singly, have been found in the Hool Marshes and the Vast Swamp. "

Re: Crocodile Tree (Score: 1) by chaoticprime on Mon, June 16, 2008 (User Info | Send a Message) | My wife is an outstanding artist, painter, colorist, and miniature painter, and I could likely get her to draw a picture of this fantastic critter. Would you like it to be Eril Otis style, or perhaps Jeff Easley style, or give it a pair of dynamite knockers and make it Vallejo style?
