Cevinar of the Saffron Robes was/is an NPC that has appeared in my games on occasion, although he first appeared in a fiction story I worte more then 15 years ago. If I ever get around to it I have another book connected to Cevinar in my campaign, and its write up delves more deply into the mysteries of the Yellow Robed Wizard. (although there are fewer spells in it).
