This article, and the Wolf's Bane sword one, were coauthored with Darva, and incorporated a lot of the work she's been doing to detail Geoff a bit. Part of her vision is that the Hornwood, aside from being a stronghold of the Old Faith Flan in the region, is infested with wolves, so that's where the focus on wolves comes from.
