    re: points 1 and 4 - You might want to try rereading the LGG and Ivid the Undying, with an eye towards pre-Oeridian references. The idea of the Flan as a kind of simplistic Native American culture is pretty much restricted to the Rovers. The Flan of the north- and south-east* were capable of establishing kingdoms and cities, which pretty much requires advanced agriculture, buildings, and fortifications.

    *There being no comparable work to Ivid covering the far north or the west below Furyondy, speculation in those areas must, for the time, remain speculation.
