    Oh, I don't know. My intent was pretty various. I would certainly have no objection if Iuz were ascended and if his actions at Tovag Baragu, vis-a-vis Vecna were used as an excuse, with or without the whole destablizing reality idea. Iuz is, of course, that Greyhawk staple who can't win an empire but can't be defeated either, thus leaving him a semi-flacid villain who does nothing much but makes lots of noise doing it. While I don't want to write like The Bucknard Manuscript is or should be gospel, neither do I want to be too easily dismissed. I like to think of this as a "toe in the water" with it remaining to be seen whether anyone dives in or pulls back from the edge. A deliberate ambiguity? My intent was various so my expression followed suite? A puzzle. Mona Lisa's smile. ;-)
