I am not against playing paladins as cavaliers, I have certainly had many who were, but I do not see paladins AS cavaliers - if that makes sense.

In the same way that I would not play all my fighters as mercenaries, or all my barbarians as Conan-esque types.

The cavalier would be just one type of paladin, a kit in 2ed terms. If you are familiar with DL think of the Knights of Solamnia after the Cataclysm shaving their moustache heirlooms and selling off their armour.

But all that said, Michael Torgrim was a PC and so was not played by me, but I could not fault the way he was played in the slightest.

As far as the spelling goes, you are of course right. You must excuse my typo, I just spelt it as we pronunced it.

    Cheers
    Ian
