You don't have to worry about defending yourself to me. I just don't have any need for the material you presented since my campaign has already moved past the wars (586 CY). IMC, the giant leaders were never defeated. The players were beaten by the giants and Snurre survived as well as the drow. So that whole story line worked for me. The heirarchs being taken out by Iuz seemed pretty reasonable to me but a few got away which the players are dealing with right now. Thrommell was rescued by the PC's from the ToEE and that changed the dynamic of the wars for the better. Plus the ToEE was completely destroyed when the key was put back together and then destroyed by the players. The Scarlet Brotherhood and the former Great Kingdom are so far away from the areas my campaign takes place in there is only rumors and suspicion as to what is really going on. Basically those areas have no direct impact on the players yet so I can tweak them to be what I want when we get there. Basically I liked From the Ashes so I used it nearly as is. The campaign got dark but my party is mainly made up of neutral, neutral good and chaotic good PC's so they are more interested in restoring balance and kicking Iuz's butt for the many hassels they've had over the years with his forces.
